My son was born 27 weeks early was on the unit for 74 days was always one step forward three steps back. He came home on oxygen which he was dependant on for one month. Since then he has had two operations one for a hernia and another for tonsillectomy because he had trouble eating now he’s a healthy three and a half year old, still slightly under weight but he’s catching up now. Couldn’t thank the staff of the neonatal unit enough for what they did he’s our miracle baby.
