We are delighted to have 16 people taking part in the Great North Run 2022 to raise money for NeoAngels!! All of the runners have a link with the charity, whether it is as a parent of a child who has been cared for on the Neonatal Unit of North Tees or James Cook Hospitals, or because they know a member of the team from one of the units.
Thank you to everyone who is taking part for NeoAngels. We have included links to some of our runners fundraising pages, so that you can support them, should you wish.
If you are taking part in the GNR for NeoAngels and would like us to include your information and fundraising page, please email info@neoangels.org.uk.
I was proud when I was able to take up the mantle and do my part to help raise money for this truly amazing charity. It doesn't take much reading into the NeoAngels story to see how important they are. Helping families when they're facing tough times, providing comfort and help. Supporting in any way they can.

My son was born at 30 weeks weighing 2lb 11oz 20 years ago. The picture below is of us both. He's over 6ft tall but will always be my tiny baby. I'll be forever grateful for JCUH Neonatal unit.
I've been following a training plan & trying hard to stick to it. My sister has just donated & got me halfway to my target 🙂

The photo below is of me and my son, Mason who was born 33 weeks and 3 days, weighing 3lb 3oz on 25/11/21. He was in neonatal care for 3 weeks and seeing other families in there for a lot longer than us and in worse situations is the reason I want to raise money for neoangels.
