Claire Ruddick & Stephen Wilson, Trimdon Station

Our twins arrived early on the 21 of December 2007. Our son Joseph arrived first weighing 2lb then Sophie weighing 2lb 8 oz, sadly we lost our son the next day he had acrania. We had amazing support from a very dedicated team, Sophie stayed on the unit 5weeks and left on 25th Jan weighing 3lb 11 oz I can still remember being scared to pick her up she was so small lol. I still keep in touch with Julie King and Stacy Williams and hope I always will, I know for sure every baby that passes through that unit is never forgotten.
